Marshal Training Program

So, you want to be a heavy combat marshal.

Excellent!  We could always use more people dedicated to ensuring the heavy fighting remains safe, honorable, and fun!

While not difficult, the process to becoming a heavy fighting marshal includes some very important requirements meant to arm you with the knowledge and skills necessary to make sure everyone is safe and having fun.

If you haven’t noticed by now, the number one priority of a heavy marshal is to ensure the safety of both the people doing the fighting as well as those spectating on the sides.

Know the armor requirements

Take armor inspections seriously

Know the rules of the list for both single combat and melee.

Do not be afraid to tell someone ‘No’ if you feel they are not being safe or are causing an unsafe situation for those around them.

Still here?  Wonderful!  The next steps are to review the below documents, contact your regional Deputy Marshal or local baronial knight marshal and let them know you would like to start the Marshal in Training process.  If you are not geographically located to any of those people, you can always reach out to the nearest member of the Chivalry and they can help you out.
